I'm currently trying to loose weight. Right now I'm only drinking cold water. But I hear that green tea is good for people that are trying to lose weight. I've never tried green tea. Which one do you think is better H2O or Green Tea?

I have been drinking green tea for 2 months and all I can feel is my metabolism speeding up. I have been drinking Celestial Seasoning green tea the whole time. Is this real green tea or not? Just wondering.

I wanna lose some weight, not a lot just like 5-10 pounds. If I drink Arizona green tea (Red Apple) will the tea still work for the weight or no?
If its not good, where could I buy the good kind? Whats it called?

I keep seeing the health benefits of green tea.
I believe most of these studies are done in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, where green tea is prevelent.
However, I mostly drink black tea.
How does the fermentation of tea affect the antioxidant levels, and other phytochemicals?

And does it help you sleep ? :] I drink enough water, but I am thinking about subsituting a glass of water for a cup of green tea at night. Will this make any difference? And why does green tea come up so often in weight loss?

I have recently started drinking green tea daily because I read it was an excellent way to boost your metabolism; however, I haven't been able to find anywhere how much green tea I really need to drink to receive all the benefits.
Can someone help me???

I’ve heard that green tea cleans your colon out, and helps flush your system, but what kind of green tea? The bottled kind? Or tea bags? Can you add sugar or cinnamon, or does that make it ineffective? What other foods will help?

I was just wondering what in green tea actually increases your endurance and if that ingredient is foudn in other common foods of drinks, considering that I do not like the taste of green tea no matter what i mix it with. So what i really am lookng for in an answer is what is that substance in green tea that helps endurance and recovery and also what an equivalent to it is.

I'm quite over weight, 190 lbs and 5'7" and I just can't handle the humilation anymore. Over the past month i'v started eating very healthy food in smallar proportions and moderate excersise and i'v only lost 7 pounds. I'v heard that drinking green tea regularly can help boost metabolism. I'm not looking for a miracle or anything but is this true?
