Desperate Advice on Weight Loss (serious answers please)?
I have a obese friend from pregnancies that dosnt want to do the Weight Watchers, Jenny C, Curves, or any of those any more; she's done trying all the weight loss centers.
So then i put her on a diet that she been following great (the Special K diet + Slimfast + Smartones Meals + Healthy Choice), giving her different things to eat so she won't get bored of the foods so fast and it worked!!! In addition to working out twice a day burning at least 500 calories in a day.
Till this day she still continues with the diet and all of a sudden it stops working or she's not losing as fast as she was, (she was also using cortislim (sp)) which i'm not sure really worked. She's been following my diet for like 5 weeks and lost 10 lbs. And today is is week 7 and still at the same weight as week 5.
My question is, without having surgury, what do you think is the best weight loss or diet pill method do you think that really works that you've tried (if any) and would recomend? -Thanks

Diet pills won't help. She's hit a plateau. She needs to vary her exercise routine and cut maybe another 100 calories a day to help her start losing again. Make sure she does plenty of cardio. You're burning more calories when your heart rate is up. Best of luck to her, and you're a good friend for heping her out!
EXERCISE!!! it is the only way to stay fit, thin and healthy FOR LIFE! dont giv up at wk 7, jus stay exercisin and it'll come off. she cud also be gaining muscle if shes jus started to work out and that weighs more than fat- dont giv up!
Your friend needs to break through her setpoint.
It's possible your friend is cheating on her diet.
A diet of 1200-1400 calories a day is enough to help anyone lose weight. She shouldn't have hit "the wall" after only 5 weeks.
I would wager a large sum of money that she's cheating.
I would recommend the nutritionist weight loss specialist that I used. His advice and the products he recommended were the best. I needed to lose 60 pounds and I have lost 42 so far in the last six months. My energy is great and all parts of my health have improved. Try http://www.myhealthabc.com, I am sure the guy can help your friend lose weight and make sure she stays healthy. there is an email link and a toll free number so you can reach him on the site. I hope this helps.
