I've decided to start working on my belly a bit; however, it seems counter intuitive to start restricting calories right way. To me, it seems to be the quickest way to failure. Afterall, why would I start out by tearing down an already out of shape and inefficient system right out of the gate.
Should I wait until a couple of months before reducing my fuel intake?
What do you guys think?
MJ, start walking 30 to 40 minutes a day and you may not need to go on a restrictive calorie diet. Daily exercise will up your metabolism.
Yes, wait, at least, a couple of months before reducing your fuel. It would not hurt to improve the quality of that fuel, now. Eat more fresh foods; less processed. Cut back on fast foods and fried "stuff". Up your veggies and fruit. Make sure you are eating healthy fats.
Swimming has not done much to help me with taking off weight; it sure has trimmed the inches off my waist/belly.
Good luck
