Okay so when it comes to losing weight, I basically suck. I've tried every diet out there and nothing works. Now I'm trying to try to not diet and just watch my calories and eat healthier. I just started running 40 minutes a day last week but I want to make sure I'm eating enough calories to fuel myself for my runs but still lose weight. I'm about 5'6" and I weigh 150 lbs.
im 5.6 and i weight 160 i just lost 8 pounds with 20 more to go this is what is working for me i quit soft drinks and all junk food i eat healthy food i eat a salad at nite with lowfat cottage cheese and grilled chicken on it dont eat anything fried bake it or grill it cut your food intake in half dont eat anything after your nite meal drink lots of water you can eat several times a day just very small amounts quit stuffing yourself snack on healthy things like fruit nuts or raw vegetables exercise begin with what you can do weight once a week add more exercise weekly eat vegetables fruits nuts lean meat like chicken tuna fish even steak in a nutshell eat healthy eat less exercise a lot you will not lose weight if you dont burn calories off do not put any junk in your mouth period no cookies pies ice cream sodas candy dont quit
its all about portions, slowly cut down your portions if u still dont lose any lbs
Sounds like you are off to a good start! I know, I have the same problem with my weight. I used to exercise at our local gym but I haven’t in a long time.It’s never good to deprive yourself of food. Like you said watching calories and eating healthier is a wonderful way to lose weight You didn’t say anything about soft drinks or sweets so I suppose you are staying away from them.
