1. Preheat oven to 400*F.
2. Peel the Rutabaga and slice it into thin rounds. Cut each round into quarters.

    How can I get healthy long hair? Hydra TLC? Long Term Relationship? Length and Strength? Beautiful Lengths?
    My hair has split ends from straightening and cutting it myself. It is layered and angled, and the longest pieces hit just past the shoulders. It’s wavy, dry and damaged.I would love to grow it extremely long without cutting it (not soon anyway, I of course will get a trim every 2 months)

    I need a new shampoo/conditioner, I’m looking into:

    First, you have to get your hair cut. That’s almost a requirement. You NEED a clean slate.

    No need to get more than a quarter inch cut. Just ask to get your split ends trimmed off. And be firm that you do NOT want length cut off; lots of hair stylists tend to get cut-happy… Get the layers fixed and an even length.

    I would recommend someplace like Mastercuts. They’re good at simple cuts and really cheap.

    I love all those shampoo brands, but I personally use Pantene Beautiful Lengths. It has aquacurrent technology and I believe is the newest long-hair shampoo. Pretty sure they work basically the same, though.

    Now, basic tips to healthy and shiny long hair. Do as many as you can! :)

    - No hot tools!! Or, at least dramatically lessen usage to twice a week or preferably even less.

    - Deep condition your hair (try Garnier Fructis 3 Minute Masque) every week. Put it on before you shower for about an hour. Then shampoo + condition as usual.

    - Eat well and take multivitamins & omega 3.

    - Get a water filter for your showerhead. I actually noticed better hair in two weeks after doing this. :)

    Anyone tried Healthy Trim?
    I keep hearing about these pills and I have tried googling reviews just come up with more sites badmouthing Healthy Trim then trying to sell me their pills. I usually get really tired at about 2 to 3 in the afternoon, but if I take a nap I can’t sleep that night. I’ve tried laying down for just a half hour but then I get a headache. I also get horrible munchies right before I go to bed, and no, I don’t smoke pot. The Healthy Trim advertisements say they fix both these problems. I usually walk for 30 minutes every day, I’m trying the “Run your butt off” program, but I am also addicted to sweets. Not common cheap grocery store sweets either, I’m talking extra evil fru fru pastries and high end chocolates. I’ve been cutting back but Healthy Trim also says it helps you resist sweets. I did lose 55 pounds in 3 months on the Adkins but got 2 bleeding ulcers for it. I just need something to help me resist eating the wrong things and give me more energy to exercise more. I’ve taken a ton of Kinesiology classes so I know what I need to do, I just don’t have the energy to do it. So I need honest reviews from people who have taken Healthy Trim and no nasty comments about self control and getting my lard butt out of my chair more often.

    It sounds like Healthy Trim is the answers to all your weight problems.
    So their advertising has worked. If it really works would 2/3 of us be overweight?
    If you are as well informed as you claim you know this stuff is the answer to all your prayers – NOT!
    You have learned the hazards of fad diets like Atkins, why would you for one second believe any of these unproven and unregulated diet pills really work?
