Can I install 5 Star ‘Pony’ Wheels to my 2.3 mustang?

I have a 1991 2.3 mustang lx. I was wondering if I can add 16 inch 5 star wheels to my car. I have noticed that the 2.3's sit a little lower and might have a different suspension system than the 5.0's. Also, all the pictures of 2.3's ive seen online have the hub cap wheels. Any help would be appreciated.

Your suspension shouldn't cause any difference in the wheel fitting as long as you stick with the stock width rims. (15X8). Make sure you get 4lug wheels if you order them. The ride height might be diffent if you go to a larger overall diameter than your current wheel, but lowering springs or going with less sidewall on the tire will help that. Hope this helps.

I did it on my 92 convertible.Easy swap and it gets confused for GT all the time now.Could sell it a dozen times over.
