How do you get invisibility cap is Super Mario 64?

So i have 55 stars right now and the flying cap. How do i get the invisibility cap? Ive beaten the game with like 108 stars before, but that was about 6 years so i dont remember =(
help please?

Remember? Think about the moat around the castle and how you can empty the water from it. Go into the moat and there's a square hole in the ground. Go in it and get your invisibility cap.
Hint: The switch is close to the lava world picture.
