I'm a vegetarian and I'm looking to get more protein to help fuel my work outs and boost my metabolism. I was looking for something low fat/ low calorie and came across this:
http://www.ariaprotein.com/
Has anyone heard anything about it? I don't want to bulk up but I would like to drop 5 pounds, tone up and add some protein nutrients to my diet.

Before you answer zero, consider the following: Riding a bicycle burns calories. Calories come from the foods that one consumes. Food isn't free. How many additional calories would one burn per mile vs sitting in a motor vehicle for the same amount of time? What foods would provide the most calories per dollar spent? Could a person reasonably expect to maintain a level of physical health necessary to efficiently operate a human-powered vehicle on such a diet? What would be the nutritional profile of a diet that would support such an active lifestyle? What would be the cost per calorie for the healthy diet? Would regular exercise affect basal metabolism thereby increasing total caloric needs even when not actively riding? How much money would be needed to purchase one day's worth of the cheapest food to sustainably support a sedentary lifestyle? How much would a single day's supply of optimum diet cost?

I am on a diet and I know that food is like fuel for the body but if i eat and a short while later my stomach is growling should i go ahead and eat? I dont want to slow down my metabolism or make my body go into starvation mode i just need to know it i will be effecting my diet and hindering my wieght loss if i eat when my stomach is growling. Is it that my body needs food or not?

I am not hungry all of the time. I have low thyroid, which in turn, messes with my metabolism. I was taking hydroxycut about 3X a week, but switched to trimspa. Any success stories would be nice...

I tried cortislim, adipex, wellbutrin, phen fen, weight watchers, and jenny craig. I have tried eating almost nothing and walking three miles a day. I think I have the slowest metabolism in the world. My body really wants to be fat but I can't stand it anymore! I have also tried Atkins, eating only lean cuisine, and south beach. Does anyone else out there with a very stubborn body have any medications or supplements to recommend?? Don't say eat less and exercise more, because that alone won't do it - I've tried! By the way, I'm 33, 5 foot 3, and 185lbs. Most of my weight is in the stomach(below my waist) Help!

I've been taking trimspa for the past few months and lost weight (of course with a change in diet and excercise too). I'm afraid that if I stop taking trimspa my metabolism will be too slow to maintain my current weight. If I keep eating healthy and excercising daily, will I gain the weight back?

I have been drinking green tea for 2 months and all I can feel is my metabolism speeding up. I have been drinking Celestial Seasoning green tea the whole time. Is this real green tea or not? Just wondering.

I eat healthy and exercise, but I need something to boost my metabolism a little more, as it's getting harder to lose weight (comes with age). I went to GNC and between all the different options, the guy recommended Xenadrine Detox. I can't take anything with too much caffeine, so Hydroxycut was out. Has anyone taken Xenadrine Detox? Has it worked for you? What are the most common side effects you experienced? Or, have you tried something else with low caffeine that's worked?

i started using xenadrine yesterday ( a dietary supplement that speeds up metabolism and helps lose weight). i do have a sensitivity to caffeine, and there is caffeine in xenadrine pills... the circulation was cut off in my hands last nite. is this normal? because once i took a whole bunch of No-Doz and my mouth went numb and got frozen in one position.

I have recently started drinking green tea daily because I read it was an excellent way to boost your metabolism; however, I haven't been able to find anywhere how much green tea I really need to drink to receive all the benefits.
Can someone help me???

I am 32. I know I am not pregnant because my fiance is fixed. I am a week late now with my period. It is usually on time. Like maybe a day or two late or maybe a day early sometimes. A month ago I started to ride bike for an hour, four days a week. I want to get in shape when we get married next month. I wasn't really losing weight so I started to take Trimspa to increase my metabolism. Could excercising and taking Trimspa be the cause why I am late? I don't want to have a period on our honeymoon. We are going to Vegas to get married.
Thank you everbody for your help. I took a home pregnancy 2 times just to be sure. It was negative. Which I am glad. We decided that we don't want kids because of his age. But if I was, we would keep it. I think I am just stressing because I don't want to get on vacation. I called the doctor yesterday and she said that there is nothing she can do for it. I'll just deal with it. Thank you again.
