right now i’m on a low fat/extra water diet w/exercise and its working great!! I drink only water, no pop or fruit juices (because they have alot of natural and artificial sugars) and i check the saturated and trans fats on everything i eat. I dont worry about calories or carbs. Because somethings have alot of calories that burn off easy, but fats are the hardest to burn off. I think low carb diets are the worst (right after miricle weight loss drugs) because once you go off if you put all that weight back on because your body is not used to having all that carbohydrates to burn. But if you exercise, then you can eat more healthy fullfilling foods, just watch the fat. also all the water i’m drinking is helping with celulite and making me have more energy, and preventing things like kidney infections and bladder infections. I feel GREAT and i’m losing about 3 pounds a week. Oh yeah, I walk 2 miles a day. which only takes about 30-45 minutes so it doesnt take a lot of my day,

I lost weight on Atkins but felt moody and crappy. South Beach I did not lose any weight on. Slimfast… no. Trimspa is a waste of money. Good ole diet and exercise, I lost 20 pounds but I have been at a plateau since September and getting really bothered by this. Xenadrine, another waste of money.
The best program available online for diet, weight loss, exercise and toning is from The Fit Chic. Here is the link to the site… http://www.thefitchic.com/?freegift=1325
There is a lot of free stuff on the site, but the e-book is the best book I have ever read for diet, exercise, weight loss and toning. I lost almost 30 pounds using the program…and it was easy to do…
There is a site for the guys too … http://www.thefitbastard.com/?noexcuses=1325
My husband used this program and lost almost 40 pounds and gained muscle. We both feel so much better. Visit the site!
I hope this helps! Good Luck!!
Weight Watchers, its a healthy lifestyle and you use you own food. Pills don’t work they all recommend that you eat healthy and exercise. so that is why you lose the weight on them. or just eat healthy and exercise. I live pretty much by weight watchers their maintains plan is something you can do for life. go to http://www.faddiets.com they list the pros and cons of most of the popular diets.
I’ve tried a little bit of everything and personally, I prefer counting calories and exercise. I hate the gym, so I do a home program plus lots of walking. Write down everything you eat and make sure to stay within a limit you’ve set. Lots of fruits and veggies and stay away from processed and fast food. Good Luck!
The diets I have tried have worked…such as the diabetes exchange diet (just choose a calorie level then plan out meals); however, what is the common denominator? LESS Calories….so duh, I lost weight!
The best and most fun ways I have lost weight include just eating less & exercising more! I still include my favorite dark chocolate M&Ms every day, chips, etc…just in MODERATION.
All it’s about is Calories in, Calories out, then you can achieve weight loss if you make sure you eat less Calories than you expend.
A great web site I love is http://www.fitday.com to track your Calories and physical exercise.
Also, some of the ideas on here were pretty good.
Weight Watchers is basically Calorie counting but simplified with the points system, plus they have awesome support with plenty of recipes for its members, and people can learn from each other at the meetings.
The bottom line for any weight loss is that it has to be a LIFESTYLE change and someting in which you CAN DO every day!
If you just diet for a while, lose the weight, then go back to old habits, the weight will go back.
Weight Watchers… I’m on it now and love it. I’ve been on it for 5 days, and i’ve already lost 2.3 lbs.
