I try to steer patients away from all dietary aids for weight loss. They are only a temporary fix and the side effects are often undesirable. If seriously overweight, consider bariatric surgery.

Combined with diet and exerciced, they help speed up your weight lose by upping your metabolism with caffeine and everything else in there, but what happens is as soon as you stop taking them, your metabolism falls down and you end up gaining weight even though you’re doing everything right diet&exercice wise…..Plus you have the extra stress on your heart and body from the additives in those pills.
It seems like an easy way to help out, but not really worth it in the long run

Some of them do, but you have to diet and exercise along with them. People always answer these questions and say"oh no, they do not work" but they all expect to sit on their butt and eat what they want, pop a pill and expect to lose 20 lbs. If no diet pill worked, people would have stopped buying them long ago. I have used Lipo-6 and I lose 15 lbs.

    Good Luck!

Just because a particular diet pill worked for someone does not mean that it will work for you.Weight loss pills are widely advertised as a quick method to lose weight. These are food supplements and are not regulated by the FDA or any authority. They have severe side effects. Some weight loss pills may help you lose weight for a short time, but after a month or so, the body becomes immune to them. I found information on weight loss pills and their side effects at http://www.toloseweight.org/weightlosspill.html

I’ve tried Hydroxycut, and I have taken other supplements like the original MetaboLife, and have gotten mixed results.

If you’re looking to supplement your diet plan, you’ll most likely want a good metabolic booster and appetite suppressant. I’d suggest taking a look at Herbalean. It does have Ma Haung and it also has Hoodia for the appetite suppression, so the combination works VERY well for me.

I’ve been taking it for a couple months now, and the Hoodia keeps me from snacking and gets rid of the sweet cravings, while the Ephedra gives me a good energy boost through the whole day.

It’s made by the original makers of MetaboLife, and they’ve improved the formula with Hoodia and 77 trace minerals and 14 herbs. It’s also an extended release formula, so you won’t get the jitters from the Ephedra like you would with MetaboLife.
